My Mothers Heaven 18 X 24 Pressed Flower Art Limited Edition Print

My Mothers Heaven was created in memory of my Mom, Delpha Jensen, who passed on suddenly

on Nov. 6th, 2004. I spoke with her the night before and she told me her yellow rose’s were still in bloom. She loved yellow rose’s so much. At her memorial service it was filled with arrangements

of thousands of yellow rose’s. I brought all of the arrangements back to Charlottesville and spent months preserving every single bloom. In January 2005 I created this piece while processing my grief.

The background is a mixture of different paints in shades of sage green, apricot, and blues. The flowers are yellow rose’s ( the single open one came from my Mom’s garden) alstromeria, carnations, snapdragons, and babies breath. This print is a tribute to every Mother, honoring the special gifts they bestow on their children, and their Love that never dies.
 The edition size was 600 and each print is signed and numbered by me. Size is 18 x 24
